John is a student filmmaker, photographer, and musician from Medfield, MA. He has made a number of short films including "Passenger," "Are You Sure," and "Everything Unresolved." John is currently a student at Stanford University, where he is exploring a wide range of interests, from philosophy and literature to economics and public policy. When he is not studying he can usually be found in the "Band Shak," practicing drums for performances with the Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band. At school, he continues to be involved with film, having recently released a music video for musician and fellow student Jacob Eisenach, and created shorts for projects in the Structured Liberal Education program. Prior to college, John attended Medfield High School where he was involved in theater, music, and community service. He also attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts as an advanced film student three summers in a row and ran a freelance videography business. Although he is currently undeclared, he plans to use his long-standing interests in research and storytelling to help solve modern social problems.
